A New Direction

The last few months I've done several weddings for friends & friends of friends. Amidst all the craziness it dawned on me that I love taking the engagement sessions, bride & groom pictures, the detail pictures, etc. SO, I've decided that I would like to add editorials for wedding magazines to my list of shooting bands, magazine covers, and fashion editorials. If you have suggestions or know anyone who works for a bridal magazine please email me! I would love to get my work in front of their art director. here's a few pics from my recent wedding! you can check out my facebook to see a few pictures from my first indian wedding! http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=5795723&id=643840235

Will Classical music give me the boot?

Have you ever flipped through a classical music program? Seriously, it makes Sears Portrait studio look like a high budget shoot instead of $9.99. Some of the subjects actually look like they are in pain & other subjects have a black background with their heads detached from their bodies - i keep looking for the "In Loving Memory Of" below the floating head (i can send you a link if you don't believe me). So who can change the face of classical music? Maybe it will take just a few. I'm hoping violist Jennifer Stumm & violinist Susie Park of Eroica Trio can take the lead. I also recently photographed ASO conductor & Grammy award winner Robert Spano. If you think it looks like crazy fun....it was....flying music, alexander mcqueen, & a dress made out of sheet music a la Project Runway.
